softbolt's position on AI is short and unambiguous.

1. no AI-generated music on the platform. every track must be performed and produced by humans. our invite-only artist signup is the first filter; community reporting and audit are the second. accounts caught uploading AI music are terminated and the listener is refunded.

2. we will never train AI models on the music or content posted to softbolt. artist recordings, written posts, comments, boost data — none of it goes into model training, ours or anyone else's. we do not license content to AI companies.

3. we do not allow scraping for AI training. our terms of service prohibit it. we will pursue violations.

4. AI in our own product is limited and disclosed. if we ever use a model — for moderation triage, search ranking, or fraud detection — it will be a tool helping humans decide, and we will say so plainly.

this policy applies to all generative AI: audio, text, image, video. it applies whether the model is open or closed, ours or a third party's.
