email + push. push notifications need browser/device permission and only fire from a tab you've installed as a PWA.

a quiet sunday email recapping your followed artists' new posts + people you follow's boosts.

show alerts

push when an artist you support announces a show within 25 mi of you. requires permission.

new releases

push when an artist you support drops a new track or album.

who's boosted me

(artists only) email when someone with 1k+ followers boosts your track.

privacy

who sees your activity. supporting status is public by default — that's how the platform works — but you can hide individual subs.

public boost stream

anyone can play through your boosts as a mixtape on /people/your-handle. turn off and your boost activity is private.

show supporting list publicly

the artists you support appear on your tastemaker page. individual subs can be hidden separately.

artists can dm you

lets artists you support reach you directly (not implemented yet — flag has no effect).

what's permanent: if you've boosted a track, the boost is part of the public record (with revoke timestamps if you un-boost) — that's a deliberate design choice, not a privacy lever.

your data

download everything you've ever done on softbolt. CSV/JSON.

artist accounts: export your fan list as a CSV. the architecture promise is that your audience travels with you.

danger zone

irreversible actions. take a breath first.

delete account

cancels all your subscriptions, removes your boosts from artist pages, deletes your tastemaker page, releases your handle. cannot be undone. artists you supported get a final payout for the partial month.

shut down @honky-kong

cancels every active subscription to your artist page (refunding the unused portion via stripe), takes the page offline, releases the handle. supporters keep their accounts; their tastemaker layer stays active as long as they support someone else.

artists own their fan list. you own your data. nothing here is hidden.
